Comprehension Orale

TCF Canada Comprehension Orale is the Listening Comprehension component of the TCF exam. The TCF Canada Comprehension Orale paper consists of 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and lasts for 25 minutes. Candidates listen to recordings from spoken text heard in France or French-speaking countries. The questions are organised in progressive levels of difficulty (from A1 to C2). There are 5 types of questions.  

Question Type 1

Question Type 2

(Level: A1, A2)
Listen to an audio.
Observe 4 images.
Choose the image that matches the audio.

Question Type 3

(Level: A1, A2)
Listen to an audio with a question.
Listen to 4 possible answers.
Choose the correct answer.

Question Type 4

(Level: B1, B2, C1, C2)
Listen to an audio with a question.
Read 4 possible answers.
Choose the correct answer.

Question Type 5

(Level: B1, B2, C1, C2)
Listen to an audio with 2 questions.
Read 4 possible answers for each question.
Choose the correct answer.
